Technical Support

A full range of both remote and on-site technical support for all non-SIMS related aspects of the school’s ICT infrastructure, devices, users and applications.  Our team of highly skilled engineers will provide support both remotely and on-site, resulting in the maximisation of availability and development of the school’s ICT infrastructure.  

Online Backup

A fully encrypted and managed online backup solution for admin and curriculum servers, ensuring that data is backed up and stored securely off site.  It provides total peace of mind in the knowledge that there is no additional charge for either restoration of data, configuration changes or monitoring of backups.  Backups will be monitored daily and any failures will be acted upon promptly to ensure successful completion of backups at the next available opportunity. 

Managed ICT Service

A fully managed ICT service either to support a school’s existing ICT system, or to complement the Babcock Encompass Curriculum Network Solution.  Designed to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ to support a school’s ICT system, it provides all the support required to ensure the system is kept up to date and running effectively.  The service includes unlimited technical support, online backup for both admin and curriculum servers, and Gold SIMS Service Desk Support.

Encompass Curriculum Solution

Encompass offers an affordable bespoke curriculum solution, particularly ideal for infant, junior and primary schools, that is reliable, secure and simple to use.  It is tailored to the needs of your school and provides a ‘start from fresh’ ICT solution, avoiding the need for more complex overlay software and operating systems.  It is designed to improve the performance of machines and enhance the user experience, whilst providing security for users across the network.

Since we have purchased the managed service, all aspects of IT have improved and our issues that we log are dealt with immediately. If it cannot be resolved remotely then an engineer visit is organised.Babcock has progressed IT within the school and we now have wireless, iPads and laptops, none of which we had before, as our previous IT technician would not support it.
