For pupils, Pobble makes writing exciting, which is key to achieving good results. Teachers use Pobble to plan their lessons, offer their pupils an authentic purpose, and to assess and moderate writing.

How can we nurture writers that truly love writing; children who can express their thoughts and imagination for different audiences and purposes?

This course will provide delegates with resources, strategies and activities to enrich their school’s writing curriculum and give children real purpose to write.

• Ideas and resources for addressing and inspiring reluctant writers
• An understanding of the pivotal role language plays and how this can be developed

Making moderation easy: facilitating cross-school professional collaboration in assessment

Consider the strategies and systems that your school can put in place to facilitate more effective internal and external moderation. This course will also consider the management of difficult conversations ensuring that any moderation session offers the right level of both support and professional challenge.

How to Plan and Deliver Excellent Writing Sequences

This course will provide practical methods to accelerate writing progress in classrooms through effective planning. We will look at the requirements of the Curriculum and discuss effective strategies for teaching writing and ways to support and challenge. You will be provided with examples of high quality writing sequences created from interesting resources, many of which are available through Pobble.
